Mailbox Stamp Dispenser

By: Vicky Sawyer

Materials:
7-mesh plastic canvas
7 yards of dark blue yarn
2 yards of white yarn
1" magnet
Dark blue felt

Instructions
1) Stitch the Front, Left Side and Right Side according to the chart below. Be sure to skip the unmarked stitches on the legs of each piece. Those stitches will be made during the assembly process. Only overcast the marked stitches as well.

2) Using blue yarn, attach the Bottom (bottom right in diagram) to each side piece and then the Front.

3) Attach the Back (upper right in diagram) to the Bottom with blue yarn. Then attach each side to the Back using colors that correspond to the side.

4) Attach the Front to each side using blue yarn. Make sure that at all times the top of the Front reaches the top of each side. If necessary, overcast again for more sturdiness.

5) Cut out two blue felt eagles.

6) Glue an eagle to each side piece. The eagle should be centered in the white box facing the front piece.

7) Glue a magnet to the Back.

To Load Stamps:
Take a roll of a hundred stamps and feed one end through the "slit" in the front piece. Place the roll of stamps inside the mailbox and you're done!
