Pets

This is Jimmie. I got him in July of 1997 when he was only 3 1/2 months old. He seems to adore cameras. He always looks like he is posing. I printed out little copies of this image on a color laser printer and glued them in my Christmas cards for 2000.

When he was an only dog, Jimmie went on a lot of adventures. Here's Jimmie in the summer of 1999 when Ryan Schutt, Mike Miller and I rented a speed boat on Smith Mountain Lake.

This is Henry. We inherited him in February 2000 when he was about 8 months old. He originally belonged to my grandmother. I know of at least one self-declared dog hater that Henry seduced. Now that individual wants a dog of his own!

Henry has had some adventures of his own. Here is him meeting the Hokie Bird. At first Henry was howling his full head off and chased after the Hokie Bird. However, once the Hokie Bird turned around, Henry metamorphisized into the cowarding wuss you see here.

Here is Henry performing one of his favorite activities-- Piercing eardrums with a bellowing aroo.

This is Jimmie with one of the ferrets, Rugrat. Jimmie seems to be more fascinated with that toilet brush (UNUSED!). That's okay because Rugrat seems suitably intriqued by that sock (probably used). Incidently that toilet brush glows in the blacklight.
