Henry Baker

Henry Baker was born on July 6, 1825 and died on July 10, 1887. Besides being a farmer he also seems to have been a wagonmaker. He married Martha Elizabeth Miller on December 28, 1849 and reared a family of six children. His wife, called Eliza, was born in 1822 and died in 1900. His oldest son, Samuel, was only 16 when soon after the Civil War Henry moved the family to Leon County, Texas. He settled on land outside Buffalo, Texas and was buried on his own land.
