Vicky Somma is the author of Blender 3D Printing by Example and an experienced educator teaching TinkerCAD, OpenSCAD, Blender, Cura, and 3D printing. She is one of the founders and board members of 3DPrintopia (formerly the East Coast RepRap Festival). She has served on the Expert Committee for the 3D Printing Industry Awards and as a moderator for the annual 1440Makers Charity Livestreams. On Tuesdays that are Prime Numbers, she co-hosts the "How Would You Slice That?" live stream.

Since learning 3D modeling in 2014, Vicky’s 3D-printed ornaments have hung in both the White House and Virginia’s Executive Mansion. Her work and projects have been featured on NBC’s Today Show, CBS News, The Washington Post, CNET, 3DPrint.com, 3DPrintingIndustry.com, 3Ders.org, Michelle Obama’s Instagram, and the Hallmark movie The Gift of Peace.
